Raw is the brainchild of Rob Papen and Dutch dance producers DJ Promo and DJ Free-K after getting together at Dancefair 2014 in the Netherlands. After their initial meeting they soon forged plans to create a synthesiser which primarily focused on ‘distorted’ sounds with a user friendly interface. Several brainstorming sessions later and Raw was born.
Featuring two oscillators each with and X/Y field to distort the waveform using Phase Distortion and you can also draw two of your own ‘waveforms’ and use them as LFO waveforms enabling the creation of unique ‘wobble’ movements that are perfect for dubstep and other electronic music styles.
Presets have been contributed by the likes of Promo, Ophidian, Mad dog, Deathmachine, D-Passion, Rob Fabrie, DJ Thera, N-Vitral, Tha Playah, DJ Hidden and The Viper to name a few and FX such as chorus, phaser, flanger, stereo delay and the amazing Rob Papen high quality premium reverb can all be added to your sound and of course, the cool arpeggiator/ sequencer, easypage and preset bank manager have all been included as standard.
