| it’s been one week since releasing 1.2, and today we’re announcing the first release candidate of Bitwig Studio 1.3
A few hours ago Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book products, and we’re timing our Bitwig Studio 1.3 release with their latest technology. Bitwig Studio and Bitwig 8-Track 1.3 features excellent multi-touch and tablet capabilities, with a dedicated display profile developed specifically for Surface Pro with touch and pen input. We’ve worked with Microsoft on this project, and it’s great to see Bitwig Studio flashing by in Microsoft’s latest marketing videos.
We’ve also put together a number of videos to show Bitwig Studio used on a Surface Pro: a marketing video, and tutorial videos showing the new tablet display profile, and touch input methods.
