Time and Space, the official UK distributors for Toontrack, are delighted to announce that EZdrummer 2 has won The Computer Music software of the year award 2014. Nominated by an esteemed panel of judges and chosen to win via online public vote through the Music Industries Association website and other partners confirming that EZdrummer 2 is essential software.

The award ceremony held by the Music Industries Association in partnership with NAMM took place at The Park Plaza Riverbank, London on Tuesday 18 November 2014. The award was accepted by Joel Heatley – Head of Sales and Marketing at Time+Space, He said –   “EZdrummer 2 very successfully builds on the original EZ concept and is an invaluable songwriting tool for both hobbyists and professionals alike. We’re very grateful to the MIA for this award and many thanks to everyone that voted.”

EZdrummer’s unparalleled success revolves around one central fact – that it is easy to use. In a creative songwriting moment, you want to keep momentum. You don’t want to get stuck programming drums. Tweaking sounds. Be presented with endless options. You want to write music. So when presented with the daunting task of making the market’s most easy-to-use drum software better without over-complicating it, what do you do? Well, Toontrack did something pretty hard. They made it even easier.
