website-slide-XXL-Road-PackPortland, Oregon based Namba Gear announces another offering of high performance laptop bags, backpacks and accessories for musicians and djs. The XXL Road Pack features a security design that can hold up to a 17” laptop computer along with larger MIDI controllers such as the Native Instruments Traktor S4, Numark NS6, MicroKorg 37, or Line 6 PedalBoard. The company uses the highest grade 1680D ballistic nylon material for the exterior of their products and includes lockable zippers to secure the contents. The bag is also equipped with cable ties as part of an integrated cable management system and contains a secret stash pocket.

Comparing it to their Big Namba Studio Backpack, the XXL Road Pack is an extra inch deeper in the back controller compartment, and extra inch wider, and five inches taller. The backpacks are visually distinctive for their lack of exterior pockets. Instead, the bags have two large lockable compartments with all of the pockets inside the compartments to provide better security for their contents.

Namba Gear owner Woody Moran commented, “DJ Box, a reseller in Ireland, approached us at last year’s BPM show in Birmingham, UK and encouraged us to make a backpack large enough to fit the Traktor S4 controller. Once we had the prototype, we nudged it up a bit to accommodate the Numark NS6, and of course a lot of other products. This is not meant to be an airline carry-on bag; as you can imagine it is comparable in size to the over-sized backwoods hiking bags.”

Other features of the XXL Roadpack include: holds 12’’ vinyl and audio devices; convenient carry handle; extra thick padding; extra wide shoulder straps with integrated phone pocket.

Namba Gear products are available via musical instrument & dj retailers.
