Patchbanks proudly presents KRM Music Library, an original collection of vintage samples produced with new production and analog mixing/mastering techniques for true authentic sounds designed for hip hop sampling.
Inspired by vintage sounds circa 1970s: Inside contains a playlist of 25 mixed stereo compositions mastered from analog tape, with various live sessions composed in the genres of soul, jazz, 70’s movie soundtrack and other rare music often sampled for creating melodic hip hop and underground beats.
This collection features live ensemble performances and compositions of instruments such as: brass/woodwinds, flute, orchestral instruments, organ, piano, whurlitzer, rhodes, vibraphone, bass, electric/acoustic guitars and other distinct sounds played on vintage records.
All tracks have been recorded, mixed and processed with the finest outboard gear available, including names such as API, SSL, Neve, UA1176s, LA-2A, Toft ATB, RE-201 Space Echo, vintage spring reverbs and other top end names. To top it off, every mix was recorded to analog tape for a bit of saturation and a touch of hiss and hum.
