which will play back one of up to 4 different timbre variations of a particular
drum instrument, giving your drums a superbly realistic and natural sound. As
the MPC1000/2500/500 do not support random layer playback, we’ve utilised
velocity layer switching instead in these models.
Maschine users can also take advantage of the included kits by directly
importing them into Maschine 1.8 or Maschine 2.x – each imported kit will
create a unique 16 pad Maschine group that exactly matches the kit layout of
the MPC version.
